Target properties determine how the Oracle Management Agent will establish connection to the target and obtain the metrics that it will monitor. You may need to modify the properties of an existing target if the properties have changed.
Note: This process does not apply to Database Control.
To edit the properties of an existing target:
From the Enterprise Manager Console, click the Targets tab.
Click the appropriate target subtab. Each subtab is filtered. For example, the Databases subtab will only let you edit the database targets.
Select the target and click Configure.
To edit the properties of an existing target:
From the Enterprise Manager Console, click the Management System tab.
Note: Only certain privileged Enterprise Manager administrators will have access to the Management System tab. See About Privileges for Accessing the Management System Tab for more information.
Click the Agents subtab to display a list of Oracle Management Agents installed in your enterprise.
Select the Oracle Management Agent that is on the same machine where your targets reside.
Within the Monitored Targets section of the Oracle Management Agent homepage that is presented, select the target, and click Configure.
