Use this page to configure an image suite.
A suite can be defined as a collection of images. It can also be seen as an image, by itself, and will contain Stage and Post-Install directives. Creation of a suite of images is very useful, especially for large enterprises, as this facilitates the synchronization of the otherwise complex provisioning process.
Note: The images that you include in a suite must follow the correct sequence in which they must be installed. For example, if you have two images (IM1 and IM2) in a suite, where IM1 has Oracle Server as its component, and IM2 is made up of Oracle Client; they must be listed in the same sequence (IM1 and then IM2). Typically, the images in a suite must be listed according to their dependency factors.
Software versions indicate the specific release of a product, a release modified by a patch, and/or a software bundle released or packaged by the vendor.
The Oracle Software Library maintains these software components.
You can view a list of existing suites based on their different versions (such as Latest Version, Latest Active Version, Latest Mature Version, All Inactive Versions, and All Mature Versions).
These values in the drop-down list help perform a search based on a combination of values.
| Version | Description |
|---|---|
| Latest Version | Search for latest version of all available images. This will retrieve the current version of all suites, irrespective of their status (that is Active, or Inactive). |
| Latest Active Version | This search is a combination of version and status. This will retrieve the current version of all suites that are in the active state only. |
| Latest Mature Version | This search is a combination of version, maturity value, and status. It will retrieve the current version of all suites that are in the active state, and have the highest maturity value (Production). |
| All Mature Versions | This search is a combination of maturity values, and status. It will retrieve suites of all versions that are active, and have the highest maturity value (Production). |
| All Inactive Versions | This search will retrieve suites of all versions that are inactive only. |
In the View drop-down list, select the required value to view a list of the selected version of the suites.
You can also perform a search for the required images by clicking Advanced Search.

| Edit | Edit the selected suite or suite folder. |
| Create Folder | Create a new folder (to group a set of suites) . |
| Create Component | Create a new suite. You can choose a folder that you want the new suite to be a part of. |
| Promote | Increment the status of the selected suite. |
| Demote | Decrement the status of the selected suite. |
| Deactivate | Deactivate the selected suite. |
| Delete | Delete the selected suite. |
| Assign Hardware | Select the required image and click this button to provision the hardware for that image. |
