Use this page to select the images to be included in the new suite that you are creating. The order in which the images are listed in the table also indicates the order in which these images will be installed.
Under the Add Images heading, click Add Another Row. The row that will be added to the table will display a default image name (for example, Image_0, Image_1). You must then select this default image name, and click Choose Image to select the required image that will be associated with this default image name. These images that you select here, will be part of the new suite.
To change the order of precedence, select the required image and click Move Up or Move Down, accordingly.
You can select an image and click Edit Properties to modify the configuration properties for that image.
Note: The order in which you have selected the images for the suite will be the order in which the images will be provisioned.
Important: After you complete creating the new suite, you must assign the hardware servers on which you want to provision these images. The activity of assigning hardware servers will be considered as an assignment that you must create. So, in the Assign Hardware page, specify the common configuration properties for all the hardware servers that you will assign and then assign hardware servers for each image that is part of the selected suite.
For example, if you have two images (image_01, and image_02) within a suite, you will assign the hardware servers to image_01 and then proceed to assign hardware servers to image_02 before finishing this assignment.
The hardware servers that you assign to a Single-Server Image type will be independent of each other, although they have the same image running on them. But, the hardware servers that you assign to an Image Cluster will not only run this image on each machine, but also communicate with each other as they will be part of a cluster (group).
