Use this page to monitor and manage the provisioning status of the targets that are part of the suite instances.
A suite is a collection of heterogeneous components that are grouped together, and a suite instance is a group of hardware servers that will run each of these components.
For example, Oracle Collaboration Suite. This constitutes a set of heterogeneous components such as a database, application server, Web server, and an Identity server.
Considering the above example, a suite instance will constitute all the hardware servers that will run each of the above-mentioned components. It also provides information on the members (hardware servers) that constitute that suite instance, including the images (and their type) that have been assigned to the corresponding members.
The Suite Instance page, by default, displays all the available suite instances. You can also choose to perform a search for suite instances based on their provisioning status, such as Initial, Provisioned, Error, or In Progress.
To perform a Suite Instance search, select the appropriate provisioning status from the View drop-down list, and click Go.
The search results table will display the suite instances that match the parameter you had selected.
Here, you can choose to view, edit, and/or delete a suite instance.
This page also allows you to add or remove hardware servers from the selected suite instance.
The following table briefly describes these action elements.
| Page Elements | Description |
|---|---|
| View | View the selected suite instance details. |
| Edit | Modify the selected suite instance name and description. |
| Delete | Delete the selected suite instance. |
| Add Hardware | Add more hardware servers to the selected suite instance. |
| Remove Hardware | Delete hardware servers from the selected suite instance. |
