Use this page to edit the selected property values. Here, you can modify the property name, property type, and the corresponding values associated with that property type. Based on the property type that you select, the page will be refreshed to display the appropriate input fields.
Note: By default, the Property Type text box will display the No Change value. You can retain this default selection if you do not want to modify the property type, but proceed to make changes to the rest of the configuration details.
You can also choose to modify the constraint value (if it exists), add a new constraint, or remove an existing constraint from the selected property.
To remove a particular constraint from the property, select it and click Remove.
The following table lists the various property types that you can select for the new property that you are adding:
| Property Type | Description |
|---|---|
| java_math_BigDecimal | This property type represents an arbitrary-precision signed Java decimal that can be an unscaled value (limitless). Such values are very similar to decimals, except, without boundaries. BigDecimal values provide operations for basic arithmetic, scale manipulation, comparison, hashing, and format conversion. |
| java_lang_Long | This property type represents a Java integer in a long format. Such integers can have a maximum value of 263-1 and a minimum value of -263. |
| java_lang_String | This property type represents a Java character string. |
| java_lang_Boolean | This property type represents a boolean type of value (True and False) in an object. |
| java_lang_Float | This property type represents a float type of decimal value. Such property types can have a maximum value of (2-2-23)·2127 and a minimum value of 2-149. |
| java_math_BigInteger | This property type represents arbitrary-precision integers. These are very similar to normal integers, except, BigInteger values have no boundaries. |
| java_lang_Byte | This property type represents a Java byte type of numeric values with a maximum value of 27-1 and a minimum value of -27. |
| java_lang_Short | This property type represents a Java integer in a short format. Such integers can have a maximum value of 215-1 and a minimum value of -215. |
| java_util_Date | This property type represents a specific instant in time, with millisecond precision. The date and time format displayed will be locale-dependent. |
| java_lang_Integer | This property type represents arbitrary-precision integers. They can have a maximum value of 231-1 and a minimum value of -231. |
| java_lang_Double | This property type represents Java double type decimal numbers. An object of type Double contains a single field whose type is double. They can have a maximum value of 2-2-52)·21023 and a minimum value of 2-1074. |
| Map | This property type represents a map type of data structure and can comprise a group of heterogeneous property types. The map property type can grow dynamically. Note: A map cannot contain duplicate keys, and each key in the map can only map to one value. |
| Array | This property type represents an array type of data structure and contains multiple property types, but of a homogeneous kind (for example, all Integers, or all Decimals, etc.) To specify the length of an array, enter the appropriate value in the Array Length text box. |
| List | This property type represents a list type of data structure which will contain other property types listed in an orderly fashion. |
| Enumerated | This property type represents a list of values from which you will be able to select only one current value at any given time. |
Note: On this page, you have the option to change the grouping (behavioral level) of the property that you had specified in the Customize page. That is, if you had chosen to treat this as an exclusive property for the selected image (Top Level Type), you can change it here and categorize it as a Shared Type of property.
