Edit Component: Disk Layout - Configure Page

Select an hard disk profile and click Edit, to modify the device name and/or minimum and maximum hard disk capacities.

To add a new hard disk profile, click Add.

Select a physical partition and click Edit to modify the partition configuration. This includes the device name, mount point, file system type, and the size of the selected partition.

To add a new partition, click Add and specify the configuration details.

If you are using RAID or a Volume Manager in your Disk Layout, select Unspecified as the File System Type value. If not, select the appropriate type from the list.

To add a new RAID Configuration, click Add.

Select a Logical Volume Group and click Edit to modify the configurations. Here, you can edit the group name and select a different partition (if required.)

Note: When you select the partitions, all the RAID configurations that are associated with the respective partitions are also grouped with them.

To add a new logical volume group, click Add.

Select a logical volume and click Edit to modify its details. Here, you can modify the logical volume name and select an appropriate volume group and file system yype that will form part of the configuration.

Note: It is mandatory that you must have at least two logical volume groups to create a logical volume configuration.

To add a new logical volume, click Add.
