Create/Edit Redundancy Group: Members Page

Usage Tips

Consider the following guidelines for the Members page.

Selecting the Time Zone

The time zone you select is used in various operations performed at the redundancy group level, such as:

Adding Members

When you click Add, a Search and Select Targets pop-up window appears with a list of all available targets. You can reduce the list by filtering your selection to a specific target type. After you have selected one or more targets and clicked Select, the Members page reappears, and the table displays your selected target members.

Continuing the Group Configuration Process

If you are adding a new redundancy group, it is suggested that you configure all the pages before clicking OK.

Viewing Members

After you have finished configuring the redundancy group, you can view the members you selected by going to the All Targets page, then clicking the appropriate redundancy group in the Name column. The Redundancy Group page appears with four tabs, including Members. When you click the Members tab, the target members you specified on this page appear in a summary table indicating current availability, alerts, and policy violations.

If you've added another group as a member of a group, and this group within a group has members, the nested group is expanded in the Members tab, and only the unique targets are shown.
