Use this page to review the summary of all the selections that you have made for the new Oracle home clone operation.
The Source Home section of the page provides information about:
Source host name
Selected Oracle home location and name
Space available in the specified working directory, on the source host
Warnings, if any
The Destinations section provides an estimated space requirement for the new Oracle home on the selected destinations. It also lists all the destination Host names, the Oracle home name and location on each of the destination hosts, and warnings (if any).
Note: Resolve any issues noted in the Warning column of the Clone table before starting the cloning operation.
The Job section of the page displays summary information about the clone job that will perform the cloning operation.
If you are satisfied with all the selections that you have made, submit the clone job to the Enterprise Manager job system.
Note: You must run the root.sh script on the destination host after the clone job is completed for Enterprise Manager to properly configure the cloned Oracle homes. This is required only on non-Windows platforms.
Important: After cloning an Oracle Application Server home to a host that is managed by an Oracle Management Agent, the Agent does not automatically discover the targets in the cloned home. To manually discover the new home, go to Grid Control Discovery and use AS Control configure central management.
