Directives page

Use this page to view/edit, and create new set of directives that will facilitate staging and installation of components, in an image.

Directives are instructions, or a set of commands that perform specific tasks. These directives, when created, will be uploaded to the Software library. At the time of Component creation, you will choose from one of these directives that you create here, and apply them as per the requirement.

These directives (or scripts) are referenced as Component Directives, and the provisioning process will invoke these scripts at the appropriate time.

Though the scripts are configured when you are creating thedirectives, you can re-configure them at the time to component creation.

Software versions indicate the specific release of a product, a release modified by a patch, and/or a software bundle released or packaged by the vendor.

The Oracle Software Library maintains these software components.

Usage Tips

You can view a list of existing directives based on different versions of the components (such as Latest, Latest Mature, Inactive, and All Mature versions).

In the View drop-down list, select the required value to view the directives for that version (or category) of the software components.

You can also perform a search for the required components by clicking Advanced Search.
